Phone makers: bring it on!
My dad is a tech reviewer, so he brings home all sorts of new stuff. Lucky me, cuz I get to try out a bunch of the newest phones. But Dad can be such a Luddite sometimes, which is weird considering his job. He complains that phones are getting “too many features”. No way! I say bring them on!
My ideal phone will let me:
- Write on my Facebook and MySpace pages.
- IM my friends.
- Skype my friend Jenny in Japan (for free!), and in video.
- Look up stuff on Google while I’m taking exams. (kidding, Dad!)
- See where my friends are on a map because they all have GPS.
- Take 10-supermegapixel photos (with flash) and automatically upload them to MySpace and my blog.
- Have my entire ipod music library on it. And let me download more free songs.
- Copy songs from friends’ phones.
- Watch TV shows that are on the Tivo at home.
- Drop it all the time and not break. (titanium plastic invisible case)
- Buy things like it’s an electronic credit card, linked to my dad’s account. (not kidding, Dad!)
- Oh, I guess it should let me call someone too.
Is that too much to ask?
What would your ideal phone do?

Hey Lexi -what kind of phone do you have? Did you get to keep one of the phones that your dad let you try out?

I have a basic freebie phone you get when your parents are too cheap to spend money on something nice!
But when my dad brings home a cool phone and lets me review it, I forward my number to it - so i get to try out some sick phones.
I felt pretty special at school with this baby!
